Beyond the software and content included with your membership, there are a number of pieces of third party software and additional libraries that are referenced and/or utilized throughout the various courses on offer that you will need to acquire on your own. These include tools such as the Unity engine for a lot of the game development, Microsoft Visual C++ for the more in-depth programming specific courses, and Blender for general modeling. The majority of the software and software libraries used throughout the program can be obtained free of charge. However, some of the software used in certain areas of the art & animation training are not free (e.g., 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, Quixel Suite), so you'll need to acquire copies of those on your own. The individual courses will generally let you know what software you will need, if any, right upfront.
